Hi there!

If you’re reading this then you know I am about to embark on a once in a lifetime journey in mind, in body and in spirit. Allow me to explain why.

As much as I’ve tried over the past 2.5 years post graduation, I cannot peacefully tread a conventional path as I navigate the tumultuous waters of adulthood. I have a heart to serve others and a soul that longs for more from life.

In summer of 2017 I had the opportunity to attend a mission trip to Chiang Mai, Thailand. I was able to serve the Lisu tribe, that sought refuge in the mountains of Thailand while fleeing religious persecution in communist China. I was also able to work with children at the Agape Home, an orphanage of kids living with HIV. Seeing the pure joy on these people’s faces and their generous nature – insisting on feeding me in their homes where they have dirt floors – was humbling. It’s a perspective we all can benefit from while living in a first world country. This journey taught me how beautiful it is to step outside of yourself and lend a helping hand. My thirst for purpose was quenched.

It took some trial and error and some figuring out for God to lead me right back to this place. It just so happens that as I was running away from myself, I ran into Him. Again and again.

Who? We will be serving local communities, sex trafficking victims, indigenous people groups, refugees, abandoned children, deaf people groups, unreached hill tribes, homeless people and those living below the poverty line and considered “ultra poor” (living on less than 15 cents per day). We will do so by partnering with a ministry in each country.

What? My team will be serving through feeding programs, drug rehabilitation, construction projects, children & family programs, community service projects, prayer walks and rescue and restoration missions. We will also be discipling local believers to share the news of God’s love with their neighbors as well as equipping them to launch bible based churches.

Where? We will be traveling to 11 different countries and spending one month in each country. The regions are: Nicaragua, Thailand, Ecuador and Cambodia. The needs in each region are still being considered before the exact 11 countries are decided, but I will keep you posted on that.

When? My team will be launching August 1, 2021 and returning June 30, 2022.

I realize this is a strange time in world history to be embarking on an expedition like this, and I admit that I am nervous about raising the funds for this mission. However, I’m trusting God who is capable of doing immeasurably more than I could ever imagine. I’m also aware that not everyone can turn off their suffering or numb it with first world amenities. I can feel it. And so regardless, I feel called to relieve some of that burden for others that has only been made heavier by a pandemic ridden world.

I ask that you please consider partnering with me financially to bring hope to these people and spread the gospel to the ends of the Earth. Feel free to shoot me a message or give me a call if you would like to talk further about what this looks like.

Feel free to follow this link to learn more and see a price breakdown for the cost of the trip.

I appreciate you taking the time to read this and am SO excited!! 🙂

With Agape, Lindsey

Agape [Ancient Greek] – is a Greco-Christian term referring to unconditional love, “the highest form of love, charity” and “the love of God for man and of man for God”. It embraces a universal, unconditional love that transcends and persists regardless of circumstance. It goes beyond just the emotions to the extent of seeking the best for others.
